Winner of Garden Design magazine’s prestigious Golden Trowel award in 2006, Cevan draws from a wealth of experience gained in extensive travels throughout Asia and a background in stage and set design. He likes to create a “private country” that expresses the clients’ vision and reflects the totality of their lives. He aims to create a place that is emotionally satisfying and relaxing, where they can entertain, play or meditate. Some clients seek serenity and privacy while others want a dramatic stage to play upon. Cevan devotes himself to understanding his clients’ needs and interpreting them in a vigorous, adventurous statement.
His personal style focuses on a sensual mix of antique stone, ethnic treasures and reclaimed architectural artifacts incorporated with custom-designed contemporary architectural elements. He specializes in seamlessly unifying the interior and exterior, expanding the living space while providing privacy for intimate conversation as well as parties.
